My family has been coming to CPK since it's actually started. The Lakewood location is new to us as we used to visit the Cerritos location. Service and food has been the same, but today we got the bartender/server Andres, and man was he on it. Service was great. He brought the condiment's beforehand and kept all of our drinks filled up. Kudos to the management staff that's hiring great employees like Andres.
What an amazing, spectacular dining experience we had! Absolutely amazing from start to finish! We arrived on a Sunday for lunch, the hostess seated us right away. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, has a great ambiance. Our server arrived promptly with our menus, then drinks and then this delicious bread! I ordered the barbecue chicken salad, half portion. If you look at my photos, even at half plate it is still pretty well served, enough for 2 people. It is one of the best salads I have ever had. It contains black beans and corn, tomatoes and barbecue sauce. It is absolutely amazing! My daughter got the burger, it's the only burger on the menu but it is delicious, had lots of flavor and was just so perfect. The fries are amazing too, the cooks went all out. My grandson got the chicken nuggets and they came with fruit as a side dish. The restaurant and entire staff were very attentive and nice. We had an amazing time but no room for dessert. My server was super friendly, she checked on us from time to time. I recommend CPK, it is known for the pizzas but honestly, the menu is extensive, the seafood dishes looked good, something I would wanna try next time I am here. Thank you so much for the hospitality
BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free Dessert for Rewards members $9 Happy Hour Pizza & Beer The CPK at Los Cerritos Center closed down, unfortunately, to be replaced by North Italia. Fortunately, however, the CPK at Lakewood Center Mall is not too far off to enjoy Happy Hour & dessert. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA&start=72&select=Ehpjy4vdeWNzx5D2pGqSrA Mushroom, Sausage, Pepperoni Pizza & Beer- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA&start=48&select=HHnvgw94WBuBir6QoLXReA Delicious! The 7" pizza was enough for a light meal. The fatty sausage & pepperoni were harmonious with the umami of mushrooms. Dipped in herb infused olive oil, interspersed with a tipple of Michelob Ultra, a great early dinner was had. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA&start=48&select=JYj8mCGBYloUoi2bfYqTZg Butter Cake- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA&select=WAMn7x5jXFS1spwSm_t2Ug Dense, a bit sweet, a welcome treat. CPK's butter cake was a decadent dessert to celebrate moi. A la mode & mixed berries are extra & not included in the promo. Hence, I would've gone for the Limited Time Olympics Red, White & Butter Cake. I limited myself to consuming half, and taking the rest to go. Service was good. The staff have been friendly & hospitable, the wait times within reason. Parking is at Lakewood Center Mall, with CPK facing Lakewood Blvd., adjacent to Target. Another year, another dessert. Hopefully, with more years & desserts to come. CPK has a great Happy Hour, and I've enjoyed their Dodgers Win Free Pizza promo quite a few times. Alas, the CPK in Cerritos is no more, but a quick jaunt to Lakewood Center Mall is all that's needed for a pizza & a pint.
Updating Experience visit. 08.07.2024. On my last visit here I rated this place 3 stars due to the customer service we experienced. My family and I decided to give this place another try. Ordered our usual pizzas and Pasta. All was fresh and delicious The thing that stood out from my last visit to this visit was the customer service received. Our waitress Paola did an outstanding job!! She was was perfect to a tee. Professional and always attended to our needs She made me change my 3 stars to full 5 stars. Excellent job on her part!! She was the difference!
Visited at lunchtime with some friends.Service was excellent and fast. Artichoke Dip for an app. A little watery but OK. Three of us ordered the two for one special. One had a Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. Thai Chicken salad was delicious, Tomato Soup was nice and creamy. Pizzas were nice and fresh. They bring Bread and Olive oil to the table to start. Great place Value for money
We tried this location again last week and it was an excellent experience and I do recommend this location and will be back Our order was delicious and the waiter was extremely friendly fast and efficient
I was recently responsible for catering lunch at work for a sizeable group, with one in the group being vegan and another being vegetarian. This made things a little difficult in deciding where to cater from. While I don't think CPK is the best choice in general, it was probably the best choice given the circumstances. I had never done catering before, so I'm not familiar with EZCater, but CPK made it easy, especially in providing most of the utensils. I say most because they didn't include spoons, which would have been helpful for handling the salad dressing. More on that later. While doing my research on which restaurant to cater from, CPK was one of the first that came to mind because if I'm treating guests to a nice lunch, I want good quality food for my guests, and CPK will provide just that. Pricey? Yeah, for sure. A single pizza will run you about $20, and it would only consist of 6 slices. They have 15 different pizzas, and ~$300 for just 90 slices of pizza sounded like a lot, especially since I'm sure at least 7 people would like to try the same flavor. So, I threw in a twist: Instead of ordering pizza only from CPK, let's order any food not named pizza from CPK! And believe it or not, that was the more viable option because when I placed a catering inquiry online, Jackie called me back to field my question of vegan options at CPK. The only choices I had were the pea soup, called Dakota Smashed Pea + Barley, and the Tomato Basil Spaghetti. There's no option for soup on their catering menu, so I had no choice but to select the Tomato Basil Spaghetti so that the vegan guest can have something to eat. The pizza crusts, even the cauliflower, actually contain egg and dairy, so ordering pizza only was not an option for me. Then, I suddenly remembered the bread and herbed oil that CPK includes on takeout orders, so I made sure to include more of those. For the vegetarian, I made sure to include vegetarian sandwiches, another vegetarian pasta, and a vegetarian salad, at least sans dressing. Two of them can be done in one package combo. I ordered the Large Sandwich Package, which consists of 30 half sandwiches and a Caesar Salad, though you could upgrade to a premium salad for $10. I chose not to upgrade here because... I ordered the Custom Pasta Combo, which consists of a salad, two trays of pasta, and a sweets platter. For this combo, you get only two options for salad: Caesar and Original BBQ Chicken. The Original BBQ Chicken is premium for a Large Sandwich Package, but *not* for the pasta combo, oddly enough, so if I were to flip flop the choices of salad on my package combos, the subtotal would change by $10. For the pastas, they do give you an option to choose the pasta type, or you could go with the default. I didn't want to get too fancy, so I chose the default choice for all of them. The three available pastas are Bolognese Fusilli, Chicken Tequila Fettucine, and Garlic Cream Fettuccine. I chose the two that didn't have an alcohol in its name. With everything falling together in place nicely, I had some follow up questions, but Jackie mentioned she'd be on leave for a while, so I decided to place a couple orders of desserts for myself in the days leading up to the lunch to ask my questions to different personnel. From what I gathered, they could provide plates, napkins, and utensils, both dining and serving, if I mention them in my order. For some reason, it's more affordable to get cups from Dollar Tree than at CPK, hence why I had to skip the beverages, which I'm sure anyone could get any other time anywhere. The day before my lunch, I had some last minute questions, and Lupe was happy enough to assist me. Even though they don't normally label the sandwiches on the platter, she made a note to put the veggie sandwiches in a separate tray inside a labeled bag. She also threw in more bread and dressing than I initially asked for while including the dining and serving utensils needed for the lunch. I definitely appreciate her effort in making our lunch a success! Except no spoons. The spoons would have been helpful for scooping the dressing onto the salads, so we either had to use a different utensil or just pour the dressings out of the cups. Inconvenient, but otherwise, everyone enjoyed the lunch and thanked me for the good choice! I think everyone would have given 5 stars. But not me. Why not? Sometime last year, I ordered the Salmon with Pan-Roasted Seasonal Vegetables, but it came out unacceptably burnt. I sent in an inquiry and followed up after placing a separate order a week later. Teresa spoke to me, but disagreed that the salmon was burnt since it was supposed to be "charred." Apparently, she thought burnt food was safe to serve customers, and I have not ordered salmon from CPK since then. I did consider it for the catering order, but was too traumatized, not wanting my guests to go through what I did last year. Nevertheless, I still recommend CPK, especially for catering!
Take out review Customer service was very courteous and efficient. The Take out window and menu is assessable as soon as you walk thru the door clearly identified as "Take out " Wait time for a delicious salad was 10 minutes
